I am blessed to be able to do what I LOVE, and I feel honoured and privileged when someone wants ME to photograph them. With this in mind, it has always been important for me to give back, and the most suitable way...you guessed it, is through photography. This is my way of saying thank you. Thank you to everyone, and to no one in particular, just a thank you for being so fortunate.
In 2010, I became a volunteer photographer for a wonderful organization called Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep, which provides remembrance photography to parents suffering the unfortunate loss of a baby. Parents receive the free gift of professional portraiture, and a DVD with soft, gentle heirloom photographs of their beautiful baby.
In December 2009, I took part in an international movement called Help Portrait, which provided portrait sessions to individuals/families that would otherwise not be able to afford professional portraits. Please click here to read the Abby News article (will open in a new window).
